SO GENIUS: WEAR YOUR SLIP DRESS WITH A BUTTON DOWN?

The slip dress can be a tough sell for the every-girl. Since its ubiquitous stay on the runways the past few seasons, I've heard more than one lithe lady complain that they just can't pull it off—and even if they can they don't feel comfortable so overtly taking the boudoir out on the road. Blogger babe Pernille Teisbaek may have solved that issue, styling a sultry red slip dress from Reformation's latest collection with  a classic pinstripe button-down for a cool, yet covered up, monochromatic look. The lesson? You can have your silk and your decorum too.
